Universityyaar respects the privacy of its members, however the very nature of the Internet is to make certain details available on a world-wide basis, and for this reason we advise against and discourage the posting of detailed personal contact information.
Registration
During registration, you will be requested for minimal information: -
1 Names (forename, surname, previous names and nicknames)
2 Colleges attended
3 Year of leaving college
4 Email address.
Items 1, 2, 3 will be readily accessible to all visitors to Universityyaar.com. Your email address will only be supplied to a person you opt to contact on the site. Initial contact with a friend can only be made via our messaging system. Your email address will then be disclosed to the recipient of the message..
During registration, you will also be requested whether or not you wish to be included in various items - e.g. advice of new friends at your school(s), newsletters etc - you may change your preference to receive or not to receive such items at any time by visiting 'your details'.
Payment of subscriptions
We have commissioned WorldPay to process subscription payments. Via secure servers, they encrypt membersÂ’ credit card information and authorise payment directly - your card details are never disclosed to us. WorldPay may transfer to, process and hold your credit card information in countries either within or outside the European Economic Area.

We have our own internal measures to protect member information, and access is restricted internally. It remains each memberÂ’s responsibility to:
